Moisturizer Suggestions Needed

As I read through the various posts I see that I should be moisturizing prior to sealing. The problem is that I can't find a moisturizer that doesn't container "no-no" products.

I would greatly appreciate suggestions for products that I can use.

Well, I use a leave in (Cantu Shea Butter) on wet hair and after that air drys I then apply Darcys Bontanticals Madagascar Vanilla Styling Cream or their Peach Nector Hair Oil or just plain Shea Butter for mositure. Hope this helps!

Have you tried various oil such as olive, coconut or avocado oils? I will use those as a moisturizer and seal with the Shea Butter.

You have to try Qhemet Biologics Amala Heavy Cream (specifically for transitioners) and Olive Oil and Honey Hydrating Balm - I used both when I transitioning and they were a godsend and I plan on using them now...just recently BC'd...they are the only natural products that kept my hair mositurized and soft...try the trial size products first to see how you like them - they are $5.50 for the 2 oz. sizes...money well spent!

I alternate betweeen a few different leave-ins and conditioners. My favorites so far are Kinky Curly Knot Today and DevaCurl One Conditioner (a lot of ladies on this site prefer DevaCare One Conditioner but, I have to finish my DevaCurl first). A lot of women also like Givanni Direct Leave-In but, it doesn't work for me b/c it has protein and my hair does not like protein much. HTH.

I used Qhemet heavy cream for moisture. I only need to use it every other day. It's an awesome product.

I use my shea butter mix as a moisturizer and castor oil as a sealer.
