Houston Naturals,,,Where Are You!!!!!

HELLO THERE LADIES!!!

I now sit here with a big smile on my face and I am super excited about Houston Connects!! I live in the Houston Area but I currently am working as a civilian contractor in Iraq. I will be home December 18th and I can not wait to see my family face when i walk off the plane with my new natural self. I also have heard of Funky Uncles Daughters, but I have an appointment with Athena from Circle of Peace. I have a wedding to go to on December 19th (yes the day after I have 19 hours of plane rides) My hair is not as long as all of yours because I had my big cut on September 10, 2009 so I still have some time to go. BUT.. I can say to all of you beautiful ladies that ALL of your hair is BEAUTIFUL..

It will be GREAT if we can set up monthly lunches and meet for support, styling tips, and general conversation. I know I am in Iraq but, I think that would be a wonderful Idea.

Well it was ok till recently. We had a issue, but everything is good... I will be home on December 18th I have my ticket and the only thing I have not done was FRAME IT, I am so excited. We will all have to get together for sure. And know Iraq is SUPER DRY, and I have to keep my hair as moist as possible. Thanks for the safe trip.

Haha I'm supa dupa late but I just saw this... I am CRAVING some humidity right now you just don't understand. My hair is already dry and then to walk outside into this DRY AIR is killing me! But you're oh so right about finding the appropriate products. Someone just let me know that honey is a humectant so it has the opposite effect on my hair in dry air than it would in humidity.... so I also can't try that Suave humectress that so many people rave about... grrrrr.... I'm all about the moisture at this point.
