I will ask my friend which one she goes to.
I beleive there's one called "Oh My Nappy Hair" that someone I knew with locs went to. I've also heard Too Groovy is good.
Hope that helps!

There are alot of salons in the Atl area. What side of town do you live on? With ATL being so big I know you don't want to drive 1 hr to get your hair done

I went to TAG concepts salon in buckhead, peachtree and pharr rd, until I moved out of state. They all used to work at Too Groovy and starting their own salon. Gilda and Tracey are the best!!!

Tar'ra (pronounced TAR-ah) at She salon does my hair. I love her. The majority of her clients are natural and she is phenomenal. She has lots of experience with coloring, cutting and styling our hair. She can do super-chic to uber funky. She is the only person I completely trust with my my hair. The salon is clean and friendly. (I know that that may sound weird to say, but those are things I look for) Its in a set of lofts off of Auburn avenue in Atlanta. Here is the info:
She Salon
404-681-2778
659 Auburn Ave, Ste 113 Atlanta, GA 30312 P.S. I must also put a plug in for Shine since they are a client of my husband's. They do great work. I know lots of people who love them [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] . HTH!

Re: Natural Hair Salon's In the ATL
I have found all of the natural hair salons in Atlanta to be very expensive. Prices start at $85. There is also Urban Bella in Buckhead. Same prices if not higher than Curltopia!
Re: Natural Hair Salon's In the ATL
I know whats up with that?!?!? I think they take this advantage because its just for natural hair....This is why i bought a steamer, dryer and I'll just keep doing my own hair...
It would be nice every now and then to go to the salon..If i can just get over the price maybe...LOL

you have to really dig deep. I go to rejoice hair and beauty salon. Its about 30 minutes from Atl (conyers). I got a rod set and corn rolled style for $45. Shivonne is really good. She is natural herself and she did my relaxed hair too very well. Very good work.
