I use my castor oil for my scalp and my ends.
Check http://www.hairlista.com/ for more info about castor oil and how to use it.

I use my castor oil to slick my edges down. Because of how thick and shiny it is, I use it at night, tie my hair up and in the morning it's shiny and smooth!

I use it to seal my ends and to slick my hair back and it does leave my hair shiny. It kind of reminds me of a "serum" because of how thick it is.

I just recently used it as a layer with my EcoStyler gel, and I REALLY liked the result. No crunchiness at all. (Didn't like the way my hair looked though--my hair shrinks like crazy. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Looked like I BC'd all over again.)

I just bought some castor oil today, and plan to start using it twice a week, as there has been a "castor oil" challenge started over in the "Grow Long" forum that Im going to do. So ladies, I have a question...should I apply castor oil in my hair like the day before I wash? Or should it be applied to the scalp after a fresh wash? Im so confused! Im down for trying it because I hear its really good for the scalp.

Some of us are doing the castor oil challenge as well. I think they said to apply it after washing and a few times a week!
