Still in braids.... care tips?

Hello,

I'm a newbie. I started going natural about 5 months ago. I've had twists in my hair (with extensions, not just my hair). I think I'm going to be doing a long transition.... trying to last until this summer.

Anyone have ideas for things I should be doing to my hair while it's braided and in transition? Need to keep it healthy!

Hey! Thanks for the advice. I'm researching good, inexpensive conditioners now! Not sure how often I'm going to do it.

Anybody have product suggestions? Or know how often I should co-wash while in twists?

I love V05 Strawberries 'n' Cream Moisture Milk Conditioner, and Aussie Moist, so those are my top recommendations. I also like Herbal Essences Hello Hydration. Out of the three of those the V05 is the cheapest (you can get them for like $1 and they go on sale a lot. I don't think I'm the only one in my neighborhood that loves it because it's always sold out in CVS and like all of the shampoos will still be there. ~lol~)

I agree with Muz. I use VO5 and Herbal Essences HH but VO5 is my favorite plus very cheap :-)
