I want to be on here more but I started a new position at work(praise God) and still learning the job, son is keeping me busy with basketball in the evenings, and now I am at home sick with a bug. I do come through to check on everyone. I promise as soon as things slow down for me I will get back on it.

Nothin much going on with me and the hair. Still wearing a twist out. I did put in a color last weekend. (out of pure boredom) I like it and will post pics soon as I look decent. NaturalNixon - Page 3 Icon_pale

I do plan to treat myself on the 19th to the salon. I plan on getting some twist. I MISS someone washing my hair. I have not been since August and since I just celebrated my 6 months I deserve it.

A peeped Sweets flexi rod set and plan on trying that this weekend. LOVE IT MAMA! It came out BEAUTIFUL!

Hey ladies! I know it has been awhile but with children, work, and everything in between mama been busy! Not alot going on with the hair. I been mainly wearing twist outs. Like I said earlier I did color my hair and since my 6 month anniversary had come I wanted to treat myself to a salon. Oh how I miss the days of laying back in the bowl and letting someone wash thy hair! Below are some pics of my color and the results of visiting the salon. Hope to be back soon!

I think that's the ONLY thing I miss about having my hair straight: having someone else's hands in my hair!!! lol I don't trust as many stylists with my curls so I don't get to the salon too often. The twist up do looks beautiful though Smile

Trust me when I went to her salon I asked her a MILLION questions. I went in with the attitude that if she do ONE thing wrong I am OUT!! But she was very gentle, took care of my curls, and gave this scalp one good cleaning!

Great style...How is it holding?

Hello ladies!! Miss ya!! Basketball for my son ends this week and I will get my me time back so I can post more.

The pinned up styled lasted about a week. I took the updo down, spritz the twist with a conditioner, water, olive oil mix and rolled the ends. The twist and curl was CUTE!! I will post pictures tonight.

This week I am wearing a chunky twist out. I love the "bigness" I get with each passing day. I have not done a deep conditoning in about 2 weeks so that is on the to do list for this weekend so I can be cute for the NC GTG!

I have another hair appt on 3/19. I think this time I am going to get a flexi rod set. Hopefully it will turn out as cute as Sweets. NaturalNixon - Page 3 Icon_smile

As for products I am trying to use up the stash I have at home before I try anything else. It is hard but for my husband's santity I have to hold out.

On another note we are taking family pics next month and I am trying to decide what to do with my hair. Any suggestions???

Choosing an hairstyle for pics is always hard. I play it safe and do my signature braid out or twist out. Have you found a "go to" style yet?

My go to hair style is the twist out. I like that I can pin up the front or sides, or rock some hair accessories and still be CUTE!

D hates my hair flowers but he will have to get over it for a few pictures. NaturalNixon - Page 3 Lol
