I wish I COULD fit all my products in that woven basket. Maybe that's what I should do. Once the basket gets full, NO MORE PRODUCTS until there is room for them.

I use that same conditioner.....they are all great. It just sucks that the Aloe Vera one has mineral oil in it. I used it once and it did not work like the Shea Butter and the Olive Oil version. I switch back and forth between those two.
Re: NaturalNixon
That conditioner smells soo good. I like was using it for a while before I started buying all these other conditioners. SMH...I too have a growing problem and I can admit it to you all. I'm on the right track to recovery right?

Re: NaturalNixon
One of my goals is to post in this thread daily.
My staple style has been the twist out. I have been using this product for my twist.
I like that it gives me sheen and a soft hold. It is from the children line but hey it works for me. One of these days I will have enough patience to do a coil out with this product but my hair is REALLY thick and my arms get tired REALLY quick.
On new years I decided to attempt a curly fro. I actually like the results. I will post pics tonight. Anything that will give me big soft hair that last at least a week is my type of style!!

Hey ladies.
I will post the results when I get home on what is in the style and shine. I searched online and could not find anything.
Just know I am not a chemist or anything, I just act like it.
Reese that fro-hawk was clearly on accident. That is the beauty of natural hair though!

Re: NaturalNixon
Hey ladies. It is so sweet that you have been concern about me. Things with me are good but so much has been keeping me busy. Work, school, hubby, house, kids..need I say more. It is ok, I put on my Superwoman cape and make it happen captain.
In the last post I talked about the Kinky Wavy Natural Herbal style and shine by Taliah Waajid. The 1st 4 ingredents are: Shea Butter, glycerides, water, and aqua. Not sure if those are good but hey it has been working for me.
I have also decided to not buy any other products until I use some of what I have. Yes the products has been getting out of control. Right now I am using the Style and shine for my twist(I mix some peppermint oil and tea tree oil in it for my dry scalp and hair), and use coconut oil when I take them down. Stil co-washing with Giovanni products and using the leave in before I style it.
It has been 5 months since I bc'ed and the hair is growing GREAT!! I have been mostly wearing twist outs. I do think it is time for my ends to be trimmed because now after I wash it I see little curly hairs everywhere. I was thinking of getting it blown out for Valentine's day(a little sweet treat for my honey ).
I did attempt some smaller twist. LOVED the results for my twist out. I did wear the small twist all weekend. I want to do them smaller so that I can wear them for work but my arms was tired. Really need to work finding some protective styles.
Here are some pics of the hair(I need a name for the hair ladies. HELP!)
Roller set(when I first took the rollers out)
After seperating the curls
I did a twist and curl
The twist and curl day 3
small twist
twist out(from small twist)
LOVE the curl definition
Could it be a puff??? YES!!
I so LOVE Natural hair!

Re: NaturalNixon
Thanks ladies! You all are really sweet! I knew I could not come back with a mini update...the BnB po- po(lynnie) would be after me.
The last 2 days as been really busy so I been doing a wash and go. That is the part I REALLY love about being natural. When time is short you can wash and go, put on a cute headband and still be fly!! I do hate the shrinkage though!
I do plan to put some mini twist in tomorrow night and rock them until Sat. I will def make sure to post pics. I am about out of my Talijah Waajid cream so I do plan to buy some ORS twist and loc tomorrow. I will twist one side with one product and one side with the other to see if the results are any different. Hopefully I won't look too crazy.
