DH support of my PJism... Empty DH support of my PJism...

Post by blondie 21st December 2009, 3:32 am

I was just too through when my DH got a little vanity for my "hair salves" (as he & my ma call them). But when they started spreading to every dresser, cabinet, corner and nook in the house, he put his cowboy boot down. (proud Texan) Anyhoo, my eyes start to sweat everytime I look at what he built for the "hair salves" in the bedroom...

Oh he loves you!! Awww...we don't own our townhouse so I wouldn't want him to do that here but when we make that move to Atlanta I'm definitely going to show him this!! I'll say, "Look what Blondies husband made for her!" lol

lol...mine will probably say the same thing. He already complains when he can't find what he needs in the cabinet. He usually says, "Do you use all this stuff?' My answer, "yes! I already threw out what I don't use" He gives me the side eye and walks out lol

Great hubby, blondie. I will see if my husband will make me one, oh wait, no room in bathroom. Hmmm, there is the bedroom....I know the perfect place, behind the door.

@Lynnieluve, man, I would be out the door in a heartbeat.

@Lynnieluve - It's My Honey Child, all natural, she has a salon and makes her own products in NC. The stuff is excellent! I tried one product, got hooked. Her products along with Curls are my staples. Most of the stuff I have once it's gone, I won't replace it. MHC and Curls...those are my 2 main loves!

Another good all natural line is Pretty Natural. Lady from Hampton, VA makes it. Lovin her conditioner and Sheajoba pomade!

OK, let me stop b4 I go online and buy some more products!!

Oh, wait! 2 of my biggest guilty pleasures! Elasta QP Feels Like Silk and Queen Helene Shaping and Molding Paste...my do couldn't be styled without 'em!

Ok, now I'm done! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

I've just heard about this all natural line called "BeeMine." It's not expensive either. I think I may need to check it out!

@Lynnieluve -I started a thread on a natural hair site on FB so I could find out about all the different natural hair care lines...girl there are a slew! I'd heard about BeeMine, but I told myself since I've found my Holy Grails, I wasn't going to do anything else but get more MHC products, I have all the Curls ones. Smile

Have you ever tried Uncle Funky's Daughter? The curly Magic is the exact same thing as KCCC, but is cheaper and you get more!

If I couldn't do a wash and go....Lord, I'd just keep my head shaved! Smile

They have some other stuff that I've hear good things about, like the cream for twistouts and conditioner and such. But I'm trying to be good.....
