I'm late but the Easter pics were really cute. I love you in the midst of the bluebonnets. Soooooo cute! I LOVE flowers - mostly anykind so that pic definitely caught my attention. You look cute.

And the Easter dress was cute. You said it wouldn't have been your pick but you looked great. And your family looked lovely as well. You look just like your dad!

You're absolutely right. My hair feels so much healthier than when I first BCed. I think I've finally got the moisture level to where it should be.

girl break out that ruler, lol. i make my co-workers measure mine with a ruler every month! i sometimes forget i need to cuz i havent been as obsessed as i used to be. your hair is definitely long, do you plan to press it out to really show off the length?

Growth is good!!! Its great to take a lot of pics that way when u feel its not happening u have proof.

I'm not sure yet. I think Type 4 hair may be the worst to straighten. To
be honest, I think the reason the front part of my hair doesn't curl
right because when I was transitioning I wore weave and since that part
was out, I flat ironed almost daily. I have a cousin who straightened
and a whole part of her hair never curled back. She has to pin it up in
every style because there is NO WAY to make a straight piece blend with 4
hair. I also know a girl in my bible study who had tight coils,
straightened and it never went back so she just decided to relax. I just
don't know if the risks outweigh the benefits. I though about
straightening at year 1. But I would hate to have a year's worth of
growth be lost to heat damage...

Good Morning ...

Hey guys! Boy do I have a treat for you. I've been keeping it secret since Sunday, but you know I like to release my pics gradually. But it's been hard. Sunday, I had, like I'd say one of my best hair days ever. Here's what I did. I had the Fro-Hawk on Friday (after the CD Hair Milk Wash and Go). Well, I was suppose to go out on Saturday as well. I was gonna do the frohawk again but this time put twists in so it's be full and funky. I didn't need to use much product, but I sprayed some Juices and Berries and used a lil Burnt Sugar Pomade. Well, I didn't end up going out Saturday after all. Sunday morning when I woke up the twists were still in. I did them fairly large and emphasized certain areas for the mohawk style. But of course, I wasn't going to wear a frohawk to church. So, I decided on my good friend Mr. Puff. Let me just say, I think I've been sleeping on the power of the puff. It may not be the best hair. But I'd argue that it's my best hair to date. And not only does it look good, it feels good. It feels so healthy and it's very moisturized. I'm happy with it. And I got lots of compliments. Anyways, I'm rambling. Here's the result...














Tell me what ya'll think.

Oh, and feel free to slap me if I say anything else about growth, because clearly, my hair has indeed grown.
