2011 Baltimore Hair Expo

hello ladies,

My train tickets have been purchased and I am so excited! Are you going to the Baltimore Natural Hair Expo? You can find the details here! If you are going please check in I would love to meet you guys. I had a blast last year!!

I plan on visiting the Oyin store while I am in town too! I can't wait!!

I plan on going, I am trying to convince my friend who just BC'd a few weeks ago t join me

Is the event accessible by public transportation? I may end up catching a train myself

There is a MTA bus that goes up near that way.

Oh, WOW....I am definitely going to be here. I am soo excited. This is my first expo as well and I am loving my natural hair journey. I can't wait!! I have to tell a few other naturals about this. Thanks for the heads-up!!!

Hey ladies, for those of you in the area what's the wheather like this time of the year and what's the best way to get there from the airport

Are transitioners welcome at these shows? Also my cousin wants to come with and she is relaxed but contemplating going natural. I would just like a positive experience for both as we learn about hair.

Probably what it is right now...high 50's/low 60's. As far as getting there from the airport, you can check http://mta.maryland.gov/ to see if there is a bus route that would take you there. "I" wouldn't recommend this since you are not familiar with the area and you would more than likely have to make several transfers. BWI has super/airport shuttles that take you to your destination. I think they are about $25-$30 and you can make a reservation ahead of time on-line. You can also take a cab, but my first recommendation would be the shuttle.

There will be tons of vendors. I know for a fact that Koils By Nature will be there and Naturalista Cosmetics. as well as ShidaNaturals.

Yeah, what time are we going to the store. I see they are only open on Saturdays. They open and close around the same time as the hair show. How far is it from where the show is going to be?
