In my desperate attempt, I use aloe vera juice straight from my plant to moisturize my hair. It felt great on my hair, i applied it two days ago and so far my hair is still moisturized Smile heres the video!

Wish I knew where to find one, I would try it, but judging from the comments I would probably mix it with something.

I tried it several times, but never made it a staple. Always went back to Lilly of the Desert.

My grandmother always used it on burns while she was hot combing my hair but that was it. I have asked her to give me one of her plants so I can use it straight from the leaves though. I also use the Lily of the Desert brand of AVG and it has a weird smell to it (not horrible and I can't really describe it right now) but I only smell it when I'm sniffing the bottle or smelling it on a spoon or something. It doesn't carry that smell to my hair though.
