I am a 4B I have DC with honey, olive oil and a coconut milk conditioner and for the past two days I have been co washing and trying the wash and go for my hair to look decent. Ive been experiencing lots of dryness and was hoping someone could give me advice for dryness and the lil nots as well as detangling and it I should go get my hair cut all even?????? please help....a sista is getting stressed. Thanks in advance

Are you sealing your hair with an oil? if you are, then maybe their is an ingredient working against you. what are you cowashing with? and do you have a leave in?
And I don't believe you would get it cut all even, though it is a personal preference. I dont plan to get mine all even for at least a couple years when i decide to straighten it for the first time.

I think you should try a leave in. u can use the really condish as a leave in or make some mixture with aloe vera gel and such. so many possibilities! you can water down a condish and put a drop or 2 of lemon juice. You just have to find what works for you. You can buy giovanni direct leave in. a lot of naturals like that.

what Meep said...i use organix cocount conditioner too, somedays as i leave-in i add any oil available to my penny-size conditioner n apply it to my hair like a hair lotion. it makes my hair soft.(am 4b n if there was a 4c n 4d u can count me in)

l will also look into afro detangler leave-in conditioner,it a miracle.

Hi. Like MeepMeep said, you're going to need to invest in a good leave in conditioner. A lot of naturals use Kinky Curly Knot Today or Giovanni Direct. Some also swear by Kimmaytube Leave in (you can check this out on youtube). After using a leave in of your choice, I'd recommend sealing in the moisture by using a moisturizer (I love Qhemet Amla Olive Heavy Cream)and then an oil. Or another Shea Butter mixture or just an oil of your choice. I also recommend making a water + oil mix to spray your hair when it feels a little dry. You can find a lot of recpies for that spraymix online

or you can buy one (Bee Mine and Komaza have really good ones.)
