Wigs anyone?

I would have never given thought to wearing a wig a couple of months ago( I always thought of it as a old lady thing)....but now I loveeee them! I just got a new one and its big, but I love it and it matches my personality haha. One guy who sits behind me in my Holocaust lit class said he couldn't see the board because of it, and I swelled with pride! Anyway, anyone else into wigs, if so what styles/brand? Lmbo @ him not being able to see the board. Silly! But yes girl, I started rocking them last summer. I don't change them up everyday cause I don't want people to know its a wig. Lol!! My first wig was "BIG and FLY and made all the boys say HI." Bwahahaha. Im kidding. But yes, love em. Nice pic too!! :-D

Thanks ladies! Its actually a half wig with some of the front left out, not much because I'm only 4 months post BC. When I brought my first one I was afraid the wind was going to blow it off haha, but they are very secure, especially if you pin the sides down.

Yea mine was a curly half wig too. Then I went back to weaves. Lol. But they are sooo fun and cute!

@Mangos I can't do weaves, my scalp itches too bad!! I end up doing the "pat ya weave" dance 24/7!

I LOVE wigs and they helped me through out my transition and i believe will continue to help me through out my journey the only issue i can say i see in my future may be the fact that my styling game is not on point at all lol

@creole, I don't do much styling with them, I just try to make them look as natural as possible, and then add a cute accessory. Thats all I have time and energy for!

Thanks! It's definitely starting to look more natural now that the curls are not as tight, I'm going to wear it like this for a couple more weeks than cut it and thin it out to about neck length so I can get some more wear out of it.

Thank you! Both pictures are me wearing the same wig, Evony by Outre and I purchased mine online at Sams Beauty, but if you google Evony half wig there are tons of other websites that sell it.

i know how to style the wigs i'm talking about my real hair as it gets longer lol i'm usually wearing wigs so now i find it hrder to style my actual hair none the less i love me some wigs lol

I use to wear wigs, but I kinda felt I used them as a cover-up.
I always ordered mine directly from a place that makes them in China.

I used to wear that very same wig (Evony) all the time; it was a staple for me during my transition. When one would start to get old, I'd have another one on its way in the mail.

I've actually thought about investing into a wig this spring. I think I'm going to get me a half curly wig that is big and full.

Hmmmm....I have a Jersey Shore bachelorette party to attend on Saturday, so I may invest in a wig for the occasion. I was going back and forth as to how to wear my hair and I'm tired of thinking about it. Thanks Omgitsaj for the idea! Your wig suits you beautifully.

I am actually a wig queen . I find them so versatile. I wear ALL kinds, short, long, curly... u name it i wear it. i am actually wearing an Afro one right now @ work and i am getting all kinds of compliments. They call me super man because i change my wigs like once a month.

The good thing about it, my boyfriend actually goes and buys them for me, because he like wigs and knows what to get, ( I trained him well)

One the days that i do not feel like dealing with my hair, wigs come in pretty handy.

I wear Lace Fronts to work... I am addicted to them, especially with having the lace at the top/front. U can part it and it will look like ur scalp...

I have about 6 of them!

omgitsaj, you're glowing in that last pic! I have a straight-hair wig, but you make me want to go out and buy a curly one. You look great, really.
