GREEN!!!
I have been all over the island and I can't get:
- Sheabutter
- Ecostyler gel
- Kinky curly products
- Jojoba oil
- Qhemet products
- Herbal essence
- satin bonnets
- shower combs
- Denman brushes
and a whole lot more....
All that is available is for permed hair.
It is ridiculous....an island full of black people ( am I allowed to say that) and very little for natural hair.
Sorry guys...just had to vent.

Re: GREEN!!!
Hi Duchess! I'm originally from Curacao as well and I am not looking forward to moving back there when I'm done with college. All because I won't have my hair products!! (Or H&M and Zara!) If I were you I'd try www.amazon.com or other websites that ship to Curacao. A lot of websites have worldwide shipping. You just have to a little research and find which ones are cheapier. Hopefully, if it's a small amount, you won't have to pay any custom taxes.

It's too bad you didn't make a post sooner actually! My best friend just travelled back home and I wouldn't have mind doing a little shopping for you.

Re: GREEN!!!
Thanks guys...
Nali1987 thanks for mentioning Amazon, but I don't have a credit card at the moment. I'm with a Dutch bank and they won't give me a cc, because I moved country andI don't have as much income as I use to. That is the reason I can't shop on-line.

Oh that sucks.. BUT when I was living back home, my parents got me a MCB Visa Debit card! I'd put money on it and shop online. It was awesome because I'd only be able to shop if I had enough money to put on it. There's no monthly costs or anything. You put money on it when you want to. And every site out there accepts it, it functions just like a credit card.

Re: GREEN!!!
Can you get a reloadable/prepaid Visa card? You should be able to use that to order online.

Maybe some other time...
This has been on my mind for a long long time, but I hesitated starting this thread as the venting comes across as childish.....I use whatever i can find...but I wouldn't mind trying some of the stuff you guys have been raving about.

Re: GREEN!!!
You can hook up your bank account with Paypal. You don't need a credit card.

Re: GREEN!!!
That's how I pay for most of my online purchases. Either PayPal or my debit card. Credit card usage is very, very rare.

Re: GREEN!!!
Hi Duchess,
I live in St. Lucia and I have many of the same problems. I have done a LOT of searching, and have finally found quite a bit at health food stores, like castor oil, aloe vera gel and flaxseeds.
Recently a new mall opened up and there's a tiny kiosk that sells natural products like shea butter and GASP!! Kinky Curly products! Even if I'm not ready to buy, I walk by the kiosk every time I go to the mall just to make sure he's still in business.
I don't know what shipping is like from here to Curacao but I'll be more than happy to send across some shea butter and some EcoStyler (I saw it ONCE at a shop and I regret not buying it, because I haven't been able to gind any since then). I can also send a shower comb.
I'm happy to do it because I know how frustrating it is to hear people talk on here about awesome products and not be able to try. Like I have not been able to find henna ANYWHERE and I'm dying to do a couple treatments.

Re: GREEN!!!
Hey Wyldhoney....thanks for the offer.
Nali1987 who is from Curacao...(currently living in Amsterdam) suggested I try a local herb lady's shop. I'll do that tomorrow. If I come up empty handed I might take you up on your offer.
