Tried Qhemet AOHC today

@ Arhandy. I normally use it on wash day so my hair is damp with Kinky Curly Knot Today in it. I part my hair in little sections, rub a dime size amount in my palms and smooth the product all over the section. Then I put a little olive oil in my palms smooth it on the hair and twist.

@ Nali...cool, and doing that gives you the results that you love so much and last a couple days. Great! I'm going to do just that. Believe it or not, I'm just learning how to properly use these butters and creams. thx

Update- I used the BRBC and my hair is in heaven; soft, moisturized and shiny! I think its a keeper

Hi, I ordered my stuff directly from the website and I'm still using my first haul. Not sure where I'll order from next time because shipping and customs cost waaaay more than the products! There a European online website, Mariposa or something, that sells a few QB products, but their prices are high and they only have like 5 of the products, but I might have to go there next time. Damn shipping!

I made a massive mistake by only buying the small size of the OHHB because I like it almost as much as the AOHC. What a wally!

I am so proud that my beloved qhemets AOHC has its own thread!!!

Jo Somebody I understand what you mean about the shipping I placed a order for Qhemets AOHC & havent received it yet but I hope that it last for a while because I dont like paying for the shipping Maybe I can find a place here in NC that has it

for some reason even with the aohc my roots still feel dry. idk what to do. the length of my hair is soft and moisturized but the roots are dry and frizzy.

How long will it take for my order arrive I read on the site that it can take up to 2wks

you should get a confirmation email
stating that the order is being mailed.

I haven't seen it announced on FB, do you guys suspect there will be a Black History special this month? It's always so awesome to catch one of their sales.

Qhemet AOHC is the best moisturizer EVER! I haven't bothered purchasing anything else.

@ omgitsaj - I don't use Giavoni products because they dry my hair also. They have proteins in them and my hair doesn't really care for a lot of protein.

Sweet Tee I ordered the products about a week ago & havent received a email or anything yet

Battlekat my hair doesnt like proteins either so I had to stop using the Giovanni producst as well

I've been reading about the Qhemet for a few days, and this thread just convinced me to order the AOHC and the OHHB.

Ladies Ladies Ladies I got my order I think Friday & I have to say I am in love this stuff it is the bomb but the only thing I think that I have used too much on my hair My hair is really soft but its greasy

I have a few questions; how I should use it, how often, should it be used on wet or dry hair, should it be used to twist or add something to it to twist for definition, is it used to seal or provide moisture

Ok, ordering this ASAP!!! Can't wait to try it. I hope it works. The AOHR didn't work on me and everyone loves it. :-(

I use it when I finger coil at nite to make my fro a little bigger the next day.
I apply a small amount to each piece, comb thru, then coil.
When I unravel each piece the next day
I have a nicely moisturized, just-a-tad-bit-larger fro!

It also smooths out my ends.

I use every-other nite right now...
I may start every nite once I order more.

YAAYY!!! and yea a little goes a long way..but my hair ends up soaking it all up eventually

but I use the AOHC to twist my hair, and I mostly use it on dry hair..when i twist my hair I add KCKT as my water basted moisturizer then add the AOHC as a moisturizer/sealant...

Awesome! Yeah, I think you used too much. A little really goes a long way! I had the same problem the first time I used it. It all depends on your hair really, I have fine hair and it doesn't really give me definition, it provides moisture. Anyways, here's what I do..

I normally use it on wash day so my hair is damp with KCKT in it. I part my hair in sections, rub about a dime size amount in my palms and smooth the product all over the section. Then I put a little olive oil in my palms smooth it on the hair and twist. CurlyNikki used it without oil, because the product has oil in it already. So it can be used as a sealant and a moisturizer.

But I love my oliveoil.

If I wanted to do a twist out, I'd untwist my twisted hair the next morning, when it's completely dry and moisturized and add Oyin Shine and Define to smaller twisted sections.

Normally I wash my hair every ten days. If I'm wearing my hair in twists, I retwist everynight. I touch my hair and see if it needs AOHC or just a little spritz. I usually use AOHC every 4 / 5 days. So I use it on damp hair and dry hair.

You can experiment and see what gives you the best results!

Thanks so much rayray19 & Nali1987 for the info I will be doing that from here on out I did twist my hair last night & used some Darcy botanicals jelly on it This morning it really looked good then I decided to give my self an updo & it turned out really cute so I think that I will used this every other night & with the jelly to twist & see what happens
