Black Tea Rinse
A great Rinse. I notice every time I rinse with Black Tea my hair has little or no shredding. Has anyone else tried it?

Re: Black Tea Rinse
I just did one yesterday after watching many youtube videos. I must say that I LOVE IT!! I was experiencing lots of breakage and shedding (even after a protein treatment!). After letting the tea sit for 20 minutes, I applied my Oyin Honey Hemp mixed with jojoba oil and let that sit for an hour. When I went to detangle, there was only a few strands on the comb. Usually, my whole sink is covered with hair. So to go from that to a four or five strands is a miracle! I will definitely make this part of my regimen.

Just to clarify, I use Oyin Handmade's Honey Hemp Conditioner. It has a medium consistency (not watery, but not extra thick) and smells like a mix between pineapple and orange. It is hands-down the most moisturizing conditioner I have ever owned. I did the black tea rinse to help with shedding/breakage, but I'm always weary about different treatments drying out my hair. So, I added jojoba oil to the Honey Hemp, let it sit for about an hour, and afterward my hair was cotton soft. Seriously, the Honey Hemp is fabulous by itself either as a deep conditioner or a rinse-out conditioner. You can purchase it from www.oyinhandmade.com or at a store in NYC (I see you live in Queens). The address is on the web site. Hope this helps!

Re: Black Tea Rinse
I made the tea rinse this weekend (4 bags to 3 Cups water) and noticed a huge difference. I was wondering though if it was a more because of the Tangle Teezer or the rinse. Either way, I will keep using both.

Trust me it's the tea. To test it just use the Tea and not the Tangle Teezer. I will be it's the tea.

Re: Black Tea Rinse
@Lynn I usually use 3 tea Bags to 2 cups of water. It's not set in stone. You can use 2,3,4 just don't use to much water. example if u use 2 use like 1 1/2 cup of water, if U use 3 use 3 cups of water etc.. Also if I have some left over I put a some in a spray bottle for the next rinse. I repeat the process every weak.
