What's in your Spritz bottle???

I thought it would be great to share Spritz recipes. I try to spritz my hair once per day, especially in the winter when I'm no longer doing my daily cowashes.

Here is a basic one that I use.....

Water
Light conditioner like Suave
Olive or Jojoba oil

You name made me think of my Aunt.. I have an aunt we call Aunt Pie.. We have some nicknames for our family..

Water
Aloe Vera Juice
Silk Amino Acids
Sunflower Oil

Hmmmm, depends on what conditioner I have i use, right now it's Hello Hydration, coconut oil, jojoba oil, peppermint oil and a bit of water.

Ha! I am also Aunt Pie. My entire family calls me Pie. I don't think that nickname will ever go away.

Hmm, I have some left over Dr. Miracles liquid stuff and some left over Doo-Gro spray that I mixed together. Wonder if I should try adding some cheap V05 condish that I have (and don't use) and some oil.....????

Water, argan oil, remnants from Giovanni Direct Leave-In and Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Ant-Humidity Smoothing Milk [you know when it's almost gone & won't come out even when you shake it hard like you do the ketchup bottle - LOL. Ya'll know what I'm talkin' 'bout!!]

I vary from week to week but this what I'm currently using:
Distilled water
Aloe vera juice
Suave coconut conditioner
Sweet almond oil
Vatika oil

Kelleemudiva, I've always wondered about Vatika oil. What have you noticed you like since you've been using it? I like the ingredients, I've already looked it up. Is it easy to apply?

LOL! I mixed it so long ago; I can't remember.

I sprayed it on my hair this morning and my hair is so dense I did not feel the spritz until after a few sprays...

I know it's not aloe or it would have been in the fridge I'm thinking it's water and Giovanni direct leave in and jojoba oil. but, that's a guess.

@ MissyCee - what I like the most about vatika oil is that has an infusion of herbs that are good for your hair and my hair seems to love coconut. I have only been using it for a couple of weeks so I haven't noticed a change. And yes its very easy to apply. I am going to use it in my next mix of deep conditioner to see if there is a change.

I'm newly transitioning, but in my bottle is:

distilled water
Extra virgin coconut oil
Suave coconut conditioner

This is what I'm using for now, next time I'll likely add aloe vera to it.

I have been using some Jane Carter leave in conditioner nightly but after looking at this i will be going to the dollar tree to get a large bottle and mix up some aloe vera gel/juice lavender tea tree Vo5 conditioner & of course some water

I'm gonna have to play around with some more mixtures as my old one is about out.

im trying to purchase some rosewater and lavender oil but i dont know if i really need it

Mine is also simple:

conditioner (herbal essence hello hydration)
glycerin (*sometimes, more so in the summer months)
jojoba oil

New to Natural but in my bottle is:
water, HE Hello Hydration, EVOO, coconut oil w/hibiscus, avocado oil,

water
vegetable oil
vanilla extract

For moisture and refreshing my curls. Smells yummy too.

Mostly water, a squirt of Garnier Fructis leave-in condish, a spoonful of castor oil, and two or three capfuls of silk amino acids. This gives me hydrated soft hair that is also strong. I used to use just plain water but I think this is much more effective.

do you think if i warm up some coconut oil and add it to my mix if that is a good idea?!

Jadore04, melting coconut oil to add to your spritz would be fine.

I change it up, but currently rose water, vegetable glycerine, an ayurvedic oil, hemp seed oil, GDLI conditioner, and distilled water.

Jadore, my ayurvedic oil has coconut oil in it and I don't have any problems. You don't have to warm it, just mix it with another oil that has a higher melting point, like jojoba or olive or whatever you have and you will be good to go.

I'm glad i found this topic, all i have in my bottle is water but i follow it up with jojoba oil which i love....any advice on what i should try in my bottle with type 4 hair
