Around how long was your hair when it began to grow downward instead of out? My BC will be based on when my hair will be growing downward.

my hair 4 inches and still growing up lol I think the more length u have then it will start to FALL. but if it is short and thick it will grow up

Give it some time. It wil;l naturally grow down gravty will take place, till then im rocking a curly fro and not on purpose. Very Happy

From what I've seen 2+ years depending on texture but for most it's 3+ years. So I say love it as it is, while it still defies gravity (if yours currently does) Razz

With my texture, I don't think my hair will ever grow downward. It might fall that way with the help of a twist-out or something, but other than that my shrinkage will probably never allow my hair to really hang.

Thanks. I just bc'd recently after 6 1/2 months of transition & the front, back, and sides are starting to grow downward already. I have some bangs now lol

It's been like 13 months for me & it's starting to grow down now. Maybe it's because I finally stopped detangling w/ a comb.
