Good job Lynnie!! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
I have used up my KCKT, and a Donna Marie Dream Curling Cream, and my homemade Shealoe Mixture. I have one more use of one of my Shida Naturals Moisturizer detangler, and I have used 1/2 jar of both my Myhoneychild's Twist Out cream, and the Donna Marie's SuperButter cream and Moisture Maniac Conditioner. It feels very good to see product being used.

Re: PJ Rehab Challenge - Let's do this from 12/25/10 to 3/25/11
You're making good progress too Arhandy!!! Doesn't it feel good?!!
I did have a moment of weakness last week. My "hair twin" did a review on a product (that shall remain nameless LOL!) that I had been hearing good things about already. I couldn't believe the physical reaction I had. It was CRAZY!! My heart was racing and I was feeling really anxious. This PJism is something serious! No I did not purchase the product. I was too scared to even look and see how much it cost....Haha!!
I plan on being in this challenge well pass the March 25 date so it will be a while before I can make new purchases. In the future, I will only make purchases once a product has been used up....example, when I use up my current deep conditioner, I'm going to get that product my "hair twin" is using!!!

Re: PJ Rehab Challenge - Let's do this from 12/25/10 to 3/25/11
Wow, Lynnie! You are all over it. I love seeing all these items going down!
I just got done with the HE Totally Twisted (I was not happy with that product) and I used up some of that Jane Carter's.
I am now working on one of my Henna conditioners (the Skala) the Jane carters Lock and twist something or the other and the Giovanni Direct Leave-in. And of course various oils.

Thanks!! I've used up my bottle of BnB Aloe Spritzer. It's a STAPLE but I only use it when I wear mini twist which is not often so I will hold off on repurchasing it.
Your list is getting smaller. .::looking at your Miss Jessie's list::. You will be until 2013 using up all that stuff..Haha!!
I dont know if you watch ShelleyBean729 on YT. She did a roller/rod set using the Stretch Silkening Creme and it turned out GREAT!

Oh snap! I am on my way to Shelleybean's page! I did experiment with the Curly Meringue and I liked it. I will be using the Miss Jessies all summer so I think it will go away rather quickly. I have been looking at the jars to make sure they are not separating or anything.
I am suppose to keep these twists in until I use up all of my conditioners. I have a half bottle of Skala to use, Nexxus and Aussie Moist. I want to keep them becuase the Skala is my after henna cheapo condish. My Aussie Moist is my after the henna and cheapo condish...condish.
I purchased that Miss Jessies on a binge. You know how people that are going to rehab binge on alcohol, drugs or food? Well, I knew I was entering Pj Rehab so I binged during that buy BOGO sale Miss Jessies had!

I was looking at the ingredients of the curly meringe. What does it feel like? Is it a whippy consistancy? The mineral oil in Jessie's products always turned me off but my PJ has been jonesing to try something new. I won't , but I thought hearing about someone else's experience might help. At the end of the PJ challenge, I get to purchase some more things to add to the things I use to make my own products. I've done lotion, butters and balms. My next things will be hair pomades, shampoos and conditioners.
I won't be selling anything, just for personal and family use.

I've been using things that I know only has a few more uses. You have to stick with the product(s) if you want to find out if they work for you and to get rid of them.

The consistancy is like pudding. I really like it. I just used it again tonight. I do not mind mineral oil but I do have to prep my hair a bit because of the glycerine in this product. My hair does not like glycerine.
Re: PJ Rehab Challenge - Let's do this from 12/25/10 to 3/25/11
Hi DreamMerchant
Thanks. I'm not against mineral oil either. I wish it worked well on my hair. Well, it works for a little bit and then it gives a kind of producty feeling on my hair. My research tells me that mineral oil is a good stable oil and I wish I could use it on my hair. When I make my hair products I might experiment with it a little more. Maybe I can use it with natural carrier oils.
What do you do to prep your hair for glycerin?

What do you do to prep your hair for glycerin?
I like to sandwich the glycerin between two layers of water so that it does not pull the water from my hair. I will start with soaking wet hair. Then I apply a layer of Vatika oil then I apply the glycerin product, thenI mist water again and seal. That way there is plenty of water in my hair and the glycerin will not suck it out of my hair strands!
