African Black Soap
Hey Guys!
Have anyone tried African Black Soap? If so, what were your results? Good or bad? A few days I purchased Shea Moisture's soap, scrup, moisturizer and face mask. So far, I see the results of keeping my breakouts down.

I cleanse my skin in the mornings with African black soap also. Between this and the oil cleansing method I've been able to keep my breakouts down.
Re: African Black Soap
Hey Krazy. What oil do you use to cleanse? I used Jojoba oil the other day and saw that it did clean some. That was the first time I used OIL to CLEAN my skin!!! And how do you do it?
Re: African Black Soap
Hey misskris,
I use a mix of castor oil and sunflower oil. I mix the two oils in one of those small travel size containers you find in walmart. Right now my Ratio is probably 60% Castor oil and 40% sunflower. I make sure that my face is already clean of any makeup, etc. Run a sink of hot water and put the wash cloth in there.
Then I shake the bottle and apply the oil to my skin. Once my face is covered I wring the water from the hot washcloth and place the washcloth to my face. Its kind of like giving your face a steam treatment. I do this twice with the washcloth then remove any excess oil from my face. I do want to experiment with jojoba oil next.

I have had wonderful results in the past with Madina Shea Butter and Aloe Vera Black soap. The only thing is recently, I started having acne problems on my chin so I switched up my regimen. But overall, the Madina soap is great. After about a week you can really tell your skin is clearer and glowing.
