Is it ok to never trim your hair?

Im a long term transitioner, and im just not ready to trim not even a little bit lol , i know lame, but im just afraid even though my hair is not long but i want to keep this length i have while the perm grows out. I plan to trim the perm hair after im at least half way natural. Right now im not even close to be half way. i guess i can say my roots are almost a inch natural. well ladies do u think its okay to wait to start trimming when im half way natural or should i just start now?

IMO, you dont have to start trimming now. I didnt trim/cut my hair until I did the BC but I was a short term transitioner (4 months). I would suggest trimming when you are ready (unless there are split ends).

i have 5inches of new growth and i still havent trimmed! lol im lazy though im thinkin about going to the salon next week
