'Cones' - good and bad..?

Hey ladies,

I am rubbish with ingredients and some of their main purposes, but i do understand that Cones can create a barrier so to speak over the hair, so i have been avoiding them, my shampoos and condish's are 97% natural with no sulphates or cones, and i pretty much carry this through with my stylers too - and my hairs feeling good for it - However, as you can imagine, my options are really limited, everything i look at, i put down lol!

Sp, I was wondering, of the MANY cones, are there some that are less harsh and are ok if i want to keep them to a min - i very occassionally HEHH Shampoo and I know this has a couple in (cant remember names) - but still, a couple of good and bad cone's would be useful - if such a thing.
