Beeswax??? Crime to my hair?

I have texturized hair(though it still looks quite natural....it was extremely thick and course) after two months of growth i have to resort to two strand twists that i seal with beeswax. what are some alternative hairstyles(too thick for twist out) and products i could use?

would seal with castor oil. i do my two strand twists with aloe gel, 100% unrefined shea butter, EVCO and castor oil. my twists are elongated and tend to stay in for about a week.

yes, ma'am! straight from the plant. a lot of naturals do you use the aloe gel in the bottle. i do if i had to travel. however, my preference is straight from the plant.

nope!!! don't be afraid!!! you will love how it hydrates the hair, elongates when you do twists and its curl definition! post pics!! also, did you check out the aloe vera gel thread?? i think that would be a great resource for you and your hair!

I'd recommend aloe or some mix of shea butter. What you mix it with is up to you.
