I don't twist everynight. Just bonnet at night-sometimes put it into a twirly bun like Naptural85 on Youtube--to keep curls from shrinking. My twistouts can last 3-4 days based on how defined the twists are.

I use Kiss My Face Upper Management Gel for wash n gos. It doesn't shrink my hair it as much as KCCC or the other stuff. Also it is one of the few curl definers that does not have glycerin. My hair hates glycerin all year round.

Another tip-- when I wear mini or micro twists, I keep them in updo styles to hid the scalpiness. I seem to have more scalpiness at the crown area for some reason.
