Soft Bonnet Hair Dryer
As I continue to do my research during my transitioning process, I have discovered that many natural women have begin using the soft bonnet hair dryers. Many women have posted that it has minimal direct heat to hair, but it is not loud and it is reasonably priced. Does anyone know where I can purchase one? It would be nice to have.

I don't have one, but I did back in college. I got it from Sally Beauty Supply. I don't sit under the dryer often, but I have this one from when I used to rollerset my hair regularly. I can use it w/any chair & I don't have to sit it on books, props, etc to get it the right height like the hard hat dryers.

Thank you! I think I will try the soft bonnet dryer. I also like using flexirods, so that is why I need one.

I have a soft bonnet dryer. I purchased from Sally's the Gold Hot one. I had orginally purchased the white one - Conair maybe and took it back for the Gold Hot because I thought the hose was too hot and hoped it would be better on the Gold Hot one, but it wasn't. They're all the same so I say go with the cheaper one.
BTW - it' workds good. I love the convenience of not having to sit under a hard hat bonnet.

I have the conair white one also.. Then I went to the good will and got a salon dryer big chair and all for $100.00.
I love the fact that I can take it and sit anywhere in the house.. Just takes a little longer to dry my hair that my hooded dryer..

Yeah, I have the soft bonnet dryer. I got it when I was in college. I've had it like 8 years now. I got it at sally's, it's by gold n hot. The one thing I will say about it is, I've never liked using it for roller sets because it doesn't really distribute the heat evenly. The air flows better through the back of the bonnet than the front. I have really thick hair that takes a long time to dry so maybe that's why it's been an issue for me. But I use it weekly for deep conditioning and sometimes for drying twist outs if they didn't dry all the way over night.

Yes Renny I am holding onto it that it will not shut down on me. I think I've had it for 3-4 years.. Still going strong.. I was Orginally $150.00 but when someone doesn't buy the product for 1-2 weeks they will drop the price.. My fiance told me about it. I never go into good will because I never find anything but this time I got lucky
