Hello Everyone:

I just wanted to let everyone know that I have found an awesome hairdryer!!! It is the Remington D-2012 TStudio Collection Hair Dryer (1875 Watts). I have been looking for a hand held blow dryer with a cool temperature setting (not just the cool shot) for times when I don't want to air dry, but I don't want to risk heat damage or sit under a dryer either. I went to Ulta yesterday and I tested all the hair dryers with a cool setting and I think this one had the most power and the cool setting was actually cool, not just warm. It cost $39.99, but I had a coupon for $3.50 off, so I got it for $36.49. (I also saw it at Target for $35, I think, but you couldn't test it in the store). It comes with a diffuser and a concentrator, but the nozzle is narrow enough that my Universal Comb Attachment that I got from my local beauty supply store fits perfectly. (I am still trying to learn how to blow dry with a paddle or round brush - I am just not that coordinated yet, LOL).

I used it this morning with my comb attachment (I put some Karen's Body Beautiful Hair Milk on my hair before I blow dryed it) and although it takes longer to dry than when you blast it on high, it did dry my hair and my hair was stretched (it doesn't straighten without the heat-just stretches) and it still had moisture in it. I absolutely love, love, love, this dryer!!! With two kids under 3, I just don't have the time to wait for my hair to air dry - only to find that it is still wet in the morning. I prefer styling dry hair and it's easier for me to switch styles when my hair has been stretched and dry.

It has awesome reviews on Amazon and Ulta.com.

Here is the Amazon link to the one I bought:

Another good dryer that I almost bought was the Zoe, but it was a little smaller and only 1800 watts, plus I didn't think it would work with my comb attachment, but the cool setting was also truely cool. It was $29.99 at Ulta. (They also have it at Target for the same price).

If you use a hair dryer with a cool setting which one and why do you like it?

I hope this helps someone.
