twists locking up

Hey ladies,

So my bff and I were chatting earlier (we're actually still on the phone now) and she was telling me that when she twists her hair, she notices she gets little balls on the ends. She describes it as her ends locking up. I suggested that maybe she try getting a trim and deep condition on a more regular basis. Thoughts?

How long is she wearing the twist before she sees the balls? Maybe they are just shed hairs.

Sorry for the late response. She told me she is actually only wearing the twists for a day or so before taking them out.

I have that same problem but its been suggested to me that all I need is some extra tlc so I'm going to make sure I keep my ends moisturized and when I take my twists out in about a week, I will DC and see how my ends look then.

Has your friend's hair improved?

I just did my 1st twist out & I hope this doesnt happen I did put coconut oil on them this morning b4 class Im really loving them
