Vintage styles 40's & 50's
Hey ladies,
I lovvvve Vintage styles and Fashion from the 40's and 50's (in fact i can usually find stuff from all eras that i'll like) but i loved the Glamour!
With the ladies, they often had curl in their hair, but more looser/waves than tight of Afro, so for those of you who also love the Vintage look - here are some styles i came across on Google after hunting under various searches!
Here are a few that I could find, was a difficult search, as most styles were really wavy, some of these are as well to be honest, but i'll keep 'em coming if i find more, but perfect ideas perhaps for parties/special occassions etc. .

I thought these can be acheived by perhaps doing a chunky twist out or something to put hair into a wave rather than tight curls, or to wave if straight at present, so not heat needed still - transition friendly too - I will have a go at some point and a curly 50's do and report back . . .any other pics please feel free to post! xxx

I love vintage styles too. I've never tried them on my hair personally (wayyy too much hair to tackle lol) but I think they look GREAT. This curly is also from the UK and she does this cute pin-up girl look:
