STYLES FOR THE COLD WEATHER
Hi Curlies!!!
What styles do you recommend when it starts getting cold. The wash and go's are completely out - don't want to get sick or anything....I am currently wearing a sew-in right now and plan on setting my hair free when it starts cooling down. I am in Louisiana and its sticky, hot, humid..all of the above so when it cools down I think my hair will be a little bit more manageable.
What do you guys suggest??

Re: STYLES FOR THE COLD WEATHER
I live in IL and in the winter, I've done twists, twist outs and sets on spiral rods. Hope this helps.

Well your ends are the part you want to protect the MOST especially in the winter and little manipulation in general. So good protective styles would be buns, braids, twists, braid or twist up-do, a wig, or a sew-in. You could also get braid extensions or kinky twists. Go with something simple and don't forget to keep it moisturized. Just because it's up and out the way doesn't mean it doesn't need attention too.

Re: STYLES FOR THE COLD WEATHER
This will be my first natural winter. It doesn't get cold here until late October so I hope to have enough lenght to wear twists and twistouts. I'm also looking into having kinky twist put in at the start of the new year.
