Quick Question Empty Quick Question

Post by candycane1224 30th June 2010, 10:47 pm

Hello ladies,

I was wondering if you all could help me. I've been trying to come up with styles to do to my hair. I just did the BC on June 12th after transitioning for 10 months and so far all I have been doing is wash and gos. Is there anything else that I can do? Also, I'm not really sure what my hair type is. I was trying to find style ideas but didn't know if they would work based on whatever my hair type is. Anywho, thanks ladies for the help.

Your hair should be long enough to do twist outs. Your best bet would be to do them on dry hair in order to elongate your curls.

Ummmmm, you could try cornrowing your hair for a braid out if you can braid your own hair, I think that might give it a different appearance? Ummeeh, Maybe try some head wraps with the buns, if you've seen them, but you need a really big cloth! Hmm, a frohawk may also work well with your length of hair. I'm not sure how you would like to accomplish that though as I'm not sure if the ladies who do it use those comb things or what... I hope I helped a bit, I don't have many ideas..apparently I need to look for new styles too lol.

And I would need to see your hair to help you type, but I am certainly no expert at it. Though it's confusing, it's kinda fun to try and type other people's hair. Razz

Congrats on the BC btw.
