Finally cut those pesky relaxed ends off....

So after 22 months of transitioning, I finally let my friend cut off my relaxed ends. She kind of did it by surprise because I told her to twist my hair and just starting cutting. I just let her keep going because there was no point in holding onto them any longer. I don't really feel a certain way about my hair at this point. It is shorter than what I'm used to, and it's in small twists. When I take the twists out I will be able to see what I'm working with.

Congrats!! I like seeing long transitions, it lets me know I can make it. LOL

Congrats. I'm almost 15 months post relaxer myself. Make sure to share some pictures when you take your hair down.

Congrats! I wish I had that patience...I think 2 more months will be it for me. LOL

i don't think i can transition any longer with these relaxed ends. I have been only transitioning for 6 mths now. n i have such thick roots its ridiculous....

22 months? WOW! You go girl. I have at least another 10 mos. I wanted to do 2 years too but yeah...not gon happen. Can't wait to see the pics.

Those twist look so good!! What products did you use?

My best friend twisted it for me. She wet my hair...put some Giovanni 50:50 conditioner, and then ORS twist & lock gel.

She did a good job!

I'm just going to have to learn how to master twists myself!

Those twists look awesome and I wasn't sure when you were going to finally cut either but kudos to you and all the other long term transitioners because it takes a lot of patience.

@Hamtonsfnst Thanx! I know we were transitioning at the same time, and when I saw you cut your hair, I was like ok how long am I going to let this drag out.
