Hair Salon
Hi Ladies, I recently did my big chop on May 7, 2010 so I'm just over a month in. I recently decided to go to a hair care salon in Baltimore, Md. and I wanted to share the experience with you.
The name of the salon is Na'Klectic on E. 25th street in Baltimore the name of my stylist is Letitia and she was wonderful. She provided a ton of information about being natural and she eased alot of my fears. The products for my hair was mixed up fresh, the salon atomosphere was very relaxing and she was even able to recommend a great vegan resturant for me which is walking distance from the salon.
This was the best salon experience that I have ever had and I just wanted to let you ladies know if you live in or near the Baltimore area Na'Klectic is definitely the place to go.
Peace and Blessings

Re: Hair Salon
Wow that sounds great. Baltimore is my hometown and it's great to know that there is a salon there I can visit when I go to see family and it's right in the neighborhood. Thanks for the information. I live near the ATL and the salons I've contacted are too expensive for me, so I've been experimenting on my own.

Thanks for sharing the salon info
Thank you so much for the information on this salon. I picked up some information from a lot of salons in the are at the natural hair expo in May and I've been wanting to try more out. I did go to Dreadz N Headz, but they seemed to not know what to do with longer natural hair and specialized almost exclusively in locks. I just wanted a trim and a twist and curl, but they didn't even have any good conditioners. I had to remind them to comb from the ends up and everything. The staff was pretty young and did more chit-chatting than focusing on their clients. It was annoying and I will not go back. My hair looked cute but it wasn't worth listening to their annoying banter.
I will check out this salon next.
Thanks again,
Crystal

You will def love Na'Klectic then they only take appointments so that they can pamper the client.
