Thanks ladies! I hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day as well!

My day was very relaxing! Church service was great, I took a long (much needed) nap, the hubs cooked brunch and dinner, ate a delicious Mother's Day cake, played outside with the kids, and now hubs is bathing the kids and getting them ready for bed! We should have more days like this!

Oooh it's been a while! Let's see...I've been putting a lot of EVOO and coconut oil in my hair with and without conditioner to add more moisture. This week I'm doing more protective styles like buns and a single pinned up twist.

This is the last week of work (yay!!!) before my summer break begins so I'm excited for that. Been crocheting quite a bit so I haven't really been putting as much time into my hair...but the can of coconut milk in the cupboard is calling my name!!

I havent been over here in a while!!! Your boys are so cute!!!

Well, I'm working on an afghan (my first "long" project) as well as a couple hats. Trying new styles and stitches. I'm completely addicted!

My plan is to make a bunch of things and maybe post them for those that are interested in purchasing. I also want to start on Christmas gifts!

Crochet tip: if you want to get through the afghan quickly use a larger needle like a Q and it will be over in no time flat!

I've missed a lot! All of your creative styles look great!

Soooo I'm thinking....I need to do a DT with protein and I don't have any coconut milk. Soy milk has protiens in it. In fact mine has 7g of protein in 1 cup. I'm thinking about mixing some of that with EVOO & CO for a DT tonight.

Anybody use soy milk in their hair before?? I'll let you know how it goes.

Oh and I have been re-visiting my Taliah Waajid Crinkles and Curls Styling Lotion the last 2 days and I'm really loving it. I have been putting a little CO in my hair with and without leaving in conditioner and the last 2 days I put the TW C &C on top and no gel and my hair has been looking nice and no crunch at all!!
