Yay! First I want to say that I didnt know you had a thread! I have a lot of catching up to do! Secondly, I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE your hair...beautiful! The AT does promote a lot of clumping, so maybe you can try detangling with the product in your hair to reduce so much clumping if you do not like it...anyway, your hair is beautiful!

When i arrive home, we will definitely have to meet up!

Thanks girl! I did modify it by combing my hair with the shower comb afterwards, blotted out excess water, then put in the gel. I still used the AT to "scrunch".

Here is 2nd day hair, spritzed with my setting lotion spray. I did the AT yesterday. I think my curls are more defined, there's definitely more shrinkage. It streches out the 2nd day but the definition is still there.

Ok ladies, one day soon I'm going to get batteries for my camera so that I can take better pics! I have to start preparing for my trip next week so this weekend I'll get them LOL!

Hey ladies! I'm doing well. As you know I'm leaving on Saturday for JA so this week I'm packing and getting whatever last minute items we will need.

As far as my hair goes, I'm bringing my Suave, GF and GVP conditioners as well as my Elasta gel. I'm thinking about making some more setting lotion spritz too. I'm hoping for good hair days in the heat!

I've been kinda using the accordion technique in a modified way and I think that using goo gobs of conditioner (ESP in the front) is working out really well so I'm happy about that. Smile

No the cruise with my sister is in July. This will be me, hubby and the kids. It will be their first time leaving the country!!

Have a great time in JA hon!! My hair did really well curly-wise in JA's climate ... it was actually a lot thicker and fuller, so you just might get that big hair you're looking for flower

The cruise was marvelous. We now know where we want to go and stay more than a few hours. I definitely want to go back to St. Thomas, St. Croix, St. Kitts, San Juan & Barbados.

As for the gel, yes, there are. I have the one in black and white with a little green in a bottle--purchased from Sally's. The one Blondie & BBD have orange on the bottle.
