CELL PHONE QUESTIONS

I'm thinking of purchasing a new phone for my mom as a gift. I have no clue what's out there, besides, i'd rather read reviews from actual owners (instead of market reviews).

1) What kind of phone do you have?

2) What features do you like about it?

3) What do you dislike about it?

4) What phones have you previously owned?

I have a Pantech SmartPhone (slides out to a keyboard). I am low-tech - I like that I can make calls and texts (LOL) and the alarm has separate settings for weekdays and weekends. No dislikes (yet).

I had a Nokia for 6 years (I told you I am low-tech).
