FINALLY !
So today I finally did it, I got the BIG CHOP! To my surprise, I didn't shed a tear! I believe I chose the right time to do it because I was so pleased and happy afterwards (feelings I never thought I'd feel with my hair this short). Anywho, I'd like to show you guys how it looks to get your input on some styling ideas and other TWA tips! Thanks in advance!

Re: FINALLY !
Congrats on your BC!!
I suggest you play around with different styles like Two Strand Twists & Twist Outs. They are super cute and can give the hair an elongated look.
Take the time to learn about YOUR hair. Once you find what works well for you its smooth sailing! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Music8192 and Sasha B.: Thanks! And I definitely will keep posting!
Kevynnew: Congrats on your BC! I'm just trying to make sure my hair is moisturized at all times because I believe I may have some scab hair around my edges therefore I plan on co-washing everyday with VO5 Free Me Fresia moisturizing conditioner, putting some leave-in conditioner (with some added vitamin E oil), and then some aloe vera gel to my scalp. I'm going to do 2-strand twist outs every night to help blend the hair better. I also just bought some olive oil polisher that I plan on using tomorrow to help soothe my dry/rough edges. I'm really hoping it's not scab hair, but being that I just BC'd yesterday who knows?!

Re: FINALLY !
congrats! i was just about to ask how long u transitioned, but i read 8 months. that puff is looking pretty healthy! but i've been natural for 2 months and my edges are just now starting to at right (for the most part...the left side used to be horrible lol) moisture moisture and more moisture is the key...whats in the olive oil polisher? if it has mineral oil/petroleum/cones it might not be a good idea...and idk if its scab hair necessarily, but the edges tend to be the dryest because theyre more exposed to the elements and soaps/lotions and that kinda thing

Re: FINALLY !
Did you have to cut anymore hair? That's what I've been reading about ladies who claimed they had scab hair did.. The olive oil polisher ingredients are cyclomethicone, C11-C13 isoparaffin, dimethicone, phenyl trimethicone, tocopheryl acetate, aloe barbadensia leaf extract and isopropyl myristate. When I bought it earlier today I was in a little of a rush and was desperate for something that would help retain moisture in my hair that I didn't check out the ingredients. I don't know what these ingredients really are, but if you or anyone else knows if they're harmful, please let me know
But what's your regimen to moisturize your hair Iri?
