I'm in absolute love of Coko's song The Joy of the Lord, it's with Israel Houghton (New Breed). I've been jamming that the past couple of days.
Re: Gospel Music Lovers.....
I love all gospel music from the old school mass choirs, to Tye Tribbett, to Canton Jones, and LeCrae
Recently Trip Lee has been on constant rotation in my CD player. "Cling to You" is my fave right now

Yay! I think I'll be watching this thread. I love listening to gospel. Now I have some new artists to check out. Some of my favorites are the popular ones most people know like Kirk Franklin, Marvin Sapp, Byron Cage, Fred Hammond...The song I have been really enjoying is by The Clark Sisters "I'm Looking For A Miracle". That song just makes me want to skip along and not carry about the troubles of this world [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Re: Gospel Music Lovers.....
Hello lovely ladies!!! I am so excited that you all are participating in this thread. I have so many artists that I love. But I want to pose another question.
What is you favorite gospel song? It doesn't have to be popular songs that bring tears to your eyes or songs grandma used to sing. It never gets old you can always listen to or find yourself singing it.
I will name two: "I love you Lord and I lift my voice" and "I know I've been changed".
I look forward to reading your responses.
I will expand the list of artist because I have a ridiculous amount of CDs.
Smooches and be blessed.

I love and sing professional gospel music. Right now, I'm constantly playing 'Forgiven Me' by Mary Mary. I also like 'Love Medley' by God's Chosen and 'Dear God' by Smokie Norful. Donald Lawrence is also doing his thang on his last release...

Yes, I got that one the day it released. The only criticism I have is that I wish it had more upbeat songs, other than that it is a really nice CD
Vintage Winans
I remember when we got the album on TAPE. I love this CD still. Everything You Touch Is A Song Lyrics |
Performed by- The Winans |
Album: Tomorrow
1984
Verse 1
I think that a song is somthing more than a beautiful melody,
to tell the story of truth and reality.
I think that a song should be sung by a man,
who knows the meaning of the sorrow
and the meaning of true love
I think that a song should be shared among friends,
then when friends are gone the melody and meaning still lingers on.
It tells the good times, it tells of the bad,
tells of when we're happy and when we're sad.
Chorus
Everything You touch is a song.
You touched my life one day
(and then) all of my burdens rolled away (they rolled away)
You wrote a song that even the bees could hum,
everything You touch is a song,
oh everything.
Verse 2
Oh You touched a bird (and that's a song)
and that bird started to sing (tweet-te-te-de-de).
You went in the jungle and touch a lion (and that's a song),
and oh, that lion started to roar (roar).
You touched a bell (and that's a song),
that bell started to ring (ring-a-ling).
If you listen real close, everything thing in nature sings,
oh, everything, everything You touch is a song.
Most inportantly You touched my life,
oh, I'm mighty gratetful You came along and touched my life.
You touched my life, I didn't think I could last,
but along came Jesus and He just
laid His whole hand on me.
You touched my life,
You touched my life,
You touched my life,
and my burdens just rolled away (they rolled away)
You wrote a song that the robins could sing along.
Everything You touch, everything You touch,
everything You touch, everything You touch (is a song)
