Graduation Hair
Hi Ladies! My graduation is Saturday and I decided to get my hair flat-ironed and trimmed. I hadn't flat-roned my hair since December 2008, and I think that was the last time I got it trimmed too. To my surprise, the stylist only had to cut off like 1 to 1 1/2 inches...I thought my ends were much worse than they were! I guess it does pay off to baby and care for your hair.
Here I am fresh out the shower this morning:

And here is the finished product:

She used the Mizani line of heat products and my hair is light and fluffy and I love it! No gym for me for a few days!
Oh, and I finally got my eyebrows done too. Praise God. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Thanks girl! I actually finished my degree in '09, but couldn't participate in commencement until this May. I'm excited!

OMG I'm graduating Saturday as well and I have no idea what to do with my hair. I cannot flat iron it like you because it's not long enough. The cap doesn't fit well with all the hair so IDK...
PS: Congratulations and didn't mean to vent lol

Re: Graduation Hair
@robnpatscurbs, I struggled with what to do with my hair. I ended up just pinning back the sides.

Thank you Erica5417. The back of your hair is longer than mine but I am going to copy your style and make it work. I like your hood, can't wait to wear mine lol.

Re: Graduation Hair
I'm back from the graduation (University of Maryland, woohoo!) and I had a blast. My hair held up pretty well, I was sweating under that cap, but it didn't revert. I got a master's degree so I was wearing that velvet cap that looks like a bakers hat. lol. That junk was hot as heck!
