Is there Hena to make your hair Darker
I want to try hena but i don't want the red. My hair is very dark(almost black). I want to know if there is hena that can make my hair darker and shinier. The only reason I would try the kind that tints the hair red is because I heard that it can possibly loosen curl pattern. Where do I purchase hena?

I don't know too much about Henna, but YouTuber NappyChronicles has videos of where she uses Henna, and then adds INDIGO on top to keep her hair dark. I also heard you can use Cassia instead of Henna. Best bet is to check out the Henna thread.

Check out www.hennaforhair.com they have different mixes people have used to get different colors
Here's the Indigo page: http://www.hennaforhair.com/indigo/index.html
and here's the page to get other colors: http://www.hennaforhair.com/mixes/index.html
I think from what I've read on that site it really just depends on your hair and what you put in the mix, so maybe you can try one of the ones for someone who went darker

If you have a local Indian grocer, I suggest going there and getting henna. I get the Jamilla brand, not in a foil box, but works well for me.
You can add amla (an ayurvedic powder) to henna after the dye has released to tone down the red. I like dark hair also and do the two step henna and indigo. Use henna first, wash out and then apply indigo--takes many hours but it is worth it for me.
I have used henna about four times and have not seen my curls loosen. You could always do a strand test for color and curl pattern.
