Struggles, Revelations, Progress, and of course LOTS of pics

Your twistout looks awesome!!! I'm like you, I don't want wash out a good twistout! Especially if it's holdin' like that!! But you know, you gotta do what best for your hair. Nothing beats freshly washed hair and a clean scalp!

Now I see why you don't wanna wash

Soooo... I have some good news and some bad news. I'll start with the bad. So right after I posted the pics, I wash about to wash my hair. But before, I did, I needed to grab a bite to eat. So I went to the kitchen to fix some Ramen noodles. I crunched em up, put em in a bowl, and went to turn on the faucet. And what do ya know, the water did not come out. After getting over the initial panic, I remembered that my apartment complex sent out a notice earlier this week saying that the water would be out on Wednesday. Darnnit! I didn't let it ruin my meal (I grabbed a bottle water to fix the noodles), but needless to say, I cannot wash my hair. See there, even when I try to do right, it goes wrong. Smh.

But, the good news is... The twistout still looks great! I'm really surprised. My day 2 hair is usually in between defined and fro. Either or would be fine, but a mix of the two looks wacky. I like my Day 1 hair and day 3+ hair, but Day 2 usually needs some work. So xal treated me right today.

Now, I don't know what she's gonna look like in the morning. But I'll at least be able to make something happen with a puff or frohawk, and just accessorize it.

I see why you didn't want to wash your hair yet. Your hair looks great! Why not some flat twists in the front and a puff in the back? That would be really cute.

Well guys the water outage made the decision for me. It's back on now, but I won't have time to wash before the concert as I have a busy day. So unless I get home early afterwards, it's looking like it won't get washed until Friday.

Today/Yesterday was my 5 month anniversary! Yay!

No you did not say flickted!!!LMAO!! that's my g-ma favorite word to describe something when it ain't right! I see why you did not want to wash that twist out it looks good! But all good things have to come to a end JnB your twisting skills are on point so I bet the next twist style will be awesome! Congrats and Happy Ani! and have fun at the concert my daughter would kill to go with you!
