I hope you like Oyin's products. Out of the products I've tried, my hair only loved the Shine & Define Serum--good stuff!

I gotta check out your video on YT! By the way I attempted your twist updo and I think I like it , with a lil modification due to unforseen breakage in the front of my hair.

@ Sweet - Hey!!
@ Femme - That would be a good "investment" LOL!!
@ KKMommy - I've tried the HHConditioner, Shine and define, whipped pudding and Greg juice but it was when I first BC so I hope they all still work now that Roxie is longer.
@ npmoore - Yes do it!! I would love to see your spin on the do.
@ TMS - Yes, I submitted it to her. She was looking for styles for special occasions so I thought I'd send it to her.

So a curly from church took a pic of me and my lil man on Mother's Day. This is the only pic from that day....sad right. She just posted it on FB so I thought I'd share it here.

So, I don't think I've been to visit you in your own home yet Lynnie! You've been to my house several times now. Reading your journal from the beginning is on my Important Things to Do List!

@ npmoore - Thanks. That's my lovebug
@ Jlowman - Thanks. You should order the sample pack then...all of those come with it.
@ soleil - Thank for stopping by....this is actually part 3 of my journal. If you type my name in the search box, it will pull up the other two. After a thread is 40 pages, it is locked. So that means I have over 100 pages .
Here is one of them..click here
Here is the other one. <<click here
@ NTCM - Sounds like I should be scared to venture there after all...but this one is new....maybe I should still be cautious. Gotta keep that PJism in check.
@ Curlsunfurled - Thanks and yes it did.

Re: :: Lynnieluve :: Celebrating 5 years of marriage...
In hair news....
I decided to wash Roxie today. My scalp was itching so bad and I had terrible buildup. It's my fault my scalp was itching because I didnt moisturize and oil on the last wash day (Monday).
I'm currently sitting under the dryer with deep conditioner on my hair. I'm still not sure how I am gonna style it......be lazy and do large twist and wear a big fro to church tomorrow or go ahead and put the small/medium size twist in and be done with it.
I mixed up the Eco custard so I am kinda anxious to use it. Here's what I used to make it...
1 cup of Ecostyler Olive oil gel
1 tablespoon of castor oil
1 tablespoon of avocado oil
1 tablespoon of EVOO
Here's a pic...
I'll be back when I'm done....hopefully it's not too late.
Later curlies!!

Your gonna love the Eco mix. It's gives great definition without the gel feel. I use just a dab after I apply my leave in on each twist.

Thanks Eden for the tip.

Thanks Curly A!! I didnt realized we were dressed alike until we got to church. I put that shirt on him because it was the only clean short sleeve shirt he had. LOL!! I got to go shopping for my lil man. I dont know what made me think he would be able to wear his clothes from last Summer. LOL!!

Happy Sunday Lynn!!
So you plan to use the Eco custard to twist with? I can't wait to see the results. Thanks for the tips yesterday...didn't trim. I'm going to work hard to get to the root cause of my problem.
Have a great day!

Re: :: Lynnieluve :: Celebrating 5 years of marriage...
So yesterday was Wash Day for Roxie....she is now ready for week 5 of
the Twist Challenge!!
So here's what I did...
~ Shampooed with Creme of Nature Ultra Moisturizing Shampoo
~ Buffered with HE TT (trying to get rid of it)
~ deep conditioned with Giovanni Smooth As Silk
~ moisturized with Giovanni Direct Leave In, coconut oil and my shea
butter mix
~ styled with ECO-CUSTARD
I find myself detangling twice lately. Roxie isnt quite long enough to
wash in twist yet....well I would have to put it in a bunch of twist.
So after I moisturize, I put Roxie in about 25 twist to stretch and dry a
little bit (second detangling session). I am gonna try skipping the
detangling session in the shower and see if I can save some time.
After 5 long hours of twisting, here is Roxie...looking like she is
Sasha's (Sweetdrk1 hair) first cousin....SHRINKAGE WITH A CAPITAL "S"
I'm not naked...I had on a halter top.
Eco custard review coming later......
