Good Morning Ladies ...

Sorry I've been out of touch last very days been busy and plus I was in NC this past weekend. Our friend there this past weekend we were helping her and also looking around. My oldest son and his girlfriend joined us and they too were looking around. The job hunt is still on - I have faith I'll be able to find something.

So I got home around 4 yesterday - I had to wash Bella she still was in the T/O from last week. I didn't get to do my DT and I didn't do my small twists - just too tired. I made large twist just so they would dry overnight and I'll be wearing a twist- out this week.

I did get my Qhemet order last Thursday. I haven't even opened the box yet. I'll be using this upcoming weekend for twists.

I hope everyone enjoyed there weekend.

I've missed you girl!!! I pray that you are able to find a job in NC...just be patient and God will open a door when you least expect it!!

Miss seeing pictures of Bella over here, but when I need my fix I travel over to the twisted challenge thread to see how you and Bella are going.

I feel so out of touch.

@Nubie - I'm looking for work in the Ballantyne/South Park areas of Charlotte or downtown Charlotte. I'm in the legal field right now. I'm a Senior Legal Secretary - so my options just aren't limited to legal - I can perform anytype of administrative/executive/secretarial work.

Bella is a little off this week because I was tired from trip on Sunday. Didn't get to do my twists. But I did wash/condition. I gave Fluertzy's curl cream another shot ... still nothing. It's not working for me. This time I tried it doing large twists and unraveled. It was soft but that's about it.

Today I call is it a "spray and go". I look like a poodle - but it's all good.



I have to get back on track this coming weekend. I will try out my new products from Qhemet. The box is still sitting on my closet floor unopened.

I hope everyone is doing well. Sorry I haven't been around visiting. I've been busy at work.

BBD-- looks good, to ME! My mom always used to tell me I had poodle hair. That saying takes me WAAAAAAAY BACK!

Hi KNH, yes I have tried Qhemet before the heavy cream. It did nothing for me while I was transitioning. When I BC I tried it again mixed with the Olive and Honey Hydrating Balm - best combo ever. It kept my hair light and fluffy. The pic Sweet posted on her thread a couple months ago when we met at the Hair Convention - that's what I used for that look. I just purchased burdock root, it's suppose to be lighter. I will try that out this weekend.

i like the amla n honey balm combo too but i used tooo much so im gonna go easy next time and im gonna do the burdock next week!
