Itchy and flaky scalp

My daughter has been suffering from itchy and flaky scalp for sometime now I have used apple cider vinegar and it has worked but if I am not consistent the flakes come back with a vengeance is there anything else that someone knows of that may work

COCONUT OIL! IT WORKS WONDERS!....ALSO I HEARD THAT VIRGIN OLIVE OIL CAN WORK ON THE SCALP TOO.

HOW OFTEN DO YOU WASH HER HAIR??

well I was maybe twice a once or twice a month

oh. maybe u should try doing it once a week on a regular basis and see how that works out.

Tea tree oil is great for a itchy scalp. I used to give my lil one scalp massages with warmed tea tree and jojoba oils. Relieved the itchies! That was yrs ago...

Editing to add...sorry, I don't know anything about flaky scalp...haven't had to deal w/that issue...
