Hello ladies!

I have not gone to see 'This is it'. I think that it will be incredibly sad. It reminds me of the Aaliyah 'rock the boat' video footage and the documentary that Left Eye did before she died.

Weigh in and let me know what you guys think. And if you have seen the movie let me know what you thought!

Gracias!

Terra- I wont lie and say it wasnt sad! I cried at the end. There are parts of the movie that will make you laugh, dance and cry! I highly recommend seeing, This is IT! Because Michael was IT!!!!! Michael was a perfectionist and you will get to know that side of him in the film. He was caring and considerate and you will also get to see that side of him! Go see it! You will enjoy it for sure!

Thanks NylaCoils. I was starting to think that no one went to see it! I will definitely see it then, and take tissue just in case!

I just got back from seeing it. It's sad in a "I wish we could have gotten the finished product" kind of way.

See that's what I thought. I really wanted to attend the concert (hoping there would be one in the U.S.).

mojitochica - I agree - the concert would have been IT!!! I was sad when I left the theatre - and really missed MJ. It also made me feel sad for his children- I am a 42yr old woman who lost my dad over 2 years ago and not a day goes by that I dont miss my daddy!

Zanii0506- you review was excellent- I tried to leave a comment on your blog!

what i am trying to say is that the media portrayed him in such a bad way. They never showed him or treated him with respect , but when you see the movie his personality comes out and you see him as a human being . Oh and he still had it.! I believe he was about to make a big comeback.

This is it was really good. I would have loved to see the finished product but it was like you were watching the concert.but the behind the stages. I know that I danced and sang through out the whole movie...

so my advice: 1. sit in the very back so you can stand up and
dance 2. Go with someone who will let you stand up and dance.

I didn't do either of these and still had a great time. but i plan to go again with my friends so that I can dance and sing along with michael as my choosing. LOL

I loved the movie. I dance and perform for a living and the entire movie, I just kept thinking how blessed those musicians, dancers, and singers were to have been able to share that experience w/ him b4 he passed. MJ clearly showed us ALL how to perfect a craft and how to package ur talents and give them ur audience b/c they deserve ur all every show.
I agree w/ u all it was exciting, it was sad, it was funny...it was everything a good movie is lol. When he sung "Human Nature" I cried....well I did that b4 he passed just b/c it's just one of those songs. O and when he told his music director he was "sizzling" I pretty much stood up! lol Got let it sizzle! lol
Peace and blessings ladies!
