Re: missmoriahiscurly
Okay so I have been keeping up with my regimen so far. Today is my fourth day without co-washing and I'm trying to make it to next thursday. I did the same thing everyday so far except for yesterday when I added some kinky curly to my spritzed hair. I wish I wouldn't have because today I want to wash it out. But Im gonna stick with my plan and co-wash only once a week. OH BTW Happy Valentines Day
Re: missmoriahiscurly
Hey there, just spray water only in your hair today..it will help you slowly break down the kinky curly. HTH
Re: missmoriahiscurly
Thanks! That does help. I thought I would give it another try but I still dont like it. So I will be spraying the water to hopefully get this stuff out. lol Thanks again Sweet!
Re: missmoriahiscurly
Okay so im really mad at myself because i had to give in and wash out the KCCC i tried it one last time and i oficially HATE it. So i co-washed it out.

Re: missmoriahiscurly
At least you're doing better than before!!! You still went 4 days without co-washing which is an improvement. Yay! I don't know how helpful or beneficial it would have been to keep the KCCC in your hair if you didn't like it ... lol
Did you end up trying your mixture with olive oil instead? My hair loves olive oil!! I haven't tried coconut oil but that's only because I haven't found any yet. Hopefully your spray bottle mix will continue to come in handy and keep your hair hydrated

Re: missmoriahiscurly
yes I know I am proud of myself for that! lol I know I just wanted to keep trying it since i spent the money but hopefully someone in product swap will switch with me. And no I haven't tried my mixture with the olive oil yet but I am going to because the coconut oil I bought this time is not the same as the others. So ill be adding it to my mixture today when I decide to get out of bed
Re: missmoriahiscurly
Hey, I am sorry the KCCC didn't work for you. I loved it when I was newly BC'd and then I stopped using it. I revisited it a few weeks back and I will able to stretch my WnG to 7 days. If you don't get someone to trade with you, perhaps you will revisit it again.
Love your smile BTW!

Re: missmoriahiscurly
I was wondering if it is okay or necessary to moisturize day and night...Is that too much manipulation or is it a good thing?
Re: missmoriahiscurly
So I completely ruined my so called regimen because I had to wash some gel out of my hair. What I have found out is that my hair really just don't like any product in my hair at all. Every time I try a product I end up not liking it so all i can do is conditioner and coconut oil.

Love the "searching for JOB" pics. You should make one of them your new avatar.
I dont like gels either. I'm not a wash n go kinda girl either but if I do wear a wash n go, I use VO5 Strawberries and Cream to define my curls.

Re: missmoriahiscurly
Hi everyone! I just wanted to share that today I tried a new style. The concept was like a fro hawk type thing. If it comes out good I'll post pics. All i did was slicked the front sides down and then two strand twisted the top section. I will be untwisting in the morning before school so I hope this comes out right.
p.s. I want to say thank you to all of you ladies that encourage me and keep me going. Your kind words and advice are so very much appreciated. You all are so beautiful and inspiring and make me happy to be natural and apart of this community. Thank you Nikki for creating this wonderful site.

Re: missmoriahiscurly
Me too Sweet! any suggestions for the parts that I know im gonna have??? and I know thats what we are here for I just wanted u and everyone else to know I am so grateful
Re: missmoriahiscurly
I too struggle with the parts, but try lifting at the roots with the end of a rattail comb. Also find making smaller twist help too. Good Luck!

Re: missmoriahiscurly
Good Morning! I woke up this morning in hopes to have a super cute hair do to reveal. And the complete opposite happened. I woke up and my idea for my hair and what actually was is so far gone its not even funny. LoL but I did laugh at myself and then I co-washed and put in the KCCC because its the only thing that reduces my frizz and defines and shine my curls. I know I hate the way it makes my hair feel all sticky but it does what it says it will do. sooooo IDK. lol
