My Honey Child Empty My Honey Child

Post by Divinebeauty87 14th January 2010, 2:16 am

I'm a product junkie just like everyone else, lol

I tried My Honey Child's Honey Hair Creme and Honey Hair Mask. So far, the honey hair creme has been super moisturizing for the winter. I have used it on the hair just about every women in my family (including my 3yrs old cousin who adored the smell). The honey hair mask is a deep conditioner that I cannot live without. Wonderful! I just received the "twist-out!" Hair creme and I cannot wait to try it. Hopefully, it's as good as the other stuff I've tried. All 3 of these products smell great.

Has anyone else tried My Honey Child products? What else should I consider from this line? Thanks, curlies!

one more question did you mix anything with the honey hair mask. Im looking for a deep conditioner and wonder if I need to mix any oils with it. Or does it work best alone?

Fellow PJ here! I luv My Honey Child products!! I've tried the Honey Nutt Scalp Cleanser, Honey Nutt Condish, Organic Olive shea paste (used as a DC), & the twist out creme. And they all did what they said they would do. The twist out creme is the best for twists...I use on my 6 y/o daughter's hair & it works very very well and keeps her hair well moisturized!

Their customer service is WONDERUFL and my products arrived fast!

@Deva_87 I did not mix the honey hair mask with anything. I used it after a henna treatment because my hair felt dry and the honey hair mask put all the moisture back in my hair. Just reordered a bigger jar Smile

@Naturalme72 When you used the twistout creme how long did the twistout last? Is the hold really good? I have the twistout creme and I am debating on whether to use the twistout creme or afroveda's totally twisted butter for my BDAY twistout. I need a nice hold that still feels soft.

@Divinebeauty87...my daughter's twists lasted about a week and a few days when I use the twistout creme and that's real good for her (most of the time she gets about 4-6 days). I usually use shea butter for her but the twistout creme gave her a great shine, great hold & made her hair super soft!

I am going to pretend that I haven't read this thread. I have been wanting to try this line. One of my sorors recommended this line to me. She has never led me wrong because she schooled me on KBB...AND I LOVE IT!

I am part of the use your stash challenge so I can't purchase anything else until I use what I have thus far.

Divinebeauty I have just ordered the honey hair mask, type 3 hair creme, and the buttery soy creme today. I can't wait for it to get here. I'm excited to try it out and not to mention it wasn't that expensive compared to other all natural brands.

I have the following products:
Sophia's Old Fashioned Hair Grease-GREAT for greasing your scalp and sealing ends
Honey Nut Conditioner
Honey Nut Scalp Cleanser
Sweet Almond Hair Milk-Great daily moisture
Honey Hair Creme-Great twisting creme
Honey Hair Mask-Great deep conditioner
Type 4 Hair Creme-Amazing for winter moisture .
Try in the smaller sizes to see if you like and email her for a consultation.

I must admit I love them all.

yeah so far I like her buttery soy and type 3 hair cremes. I wouldn't advise using the Buttery soy hair creme on damp hair. It is too thick and makes the hair kind of sticky and smells funny but on dry hair it is excellent and smells like cake batter. anyway I will let you guys know how the honey hair mask is in a few days.

@Deva_87 I'm glad to hear that you loved the products. I am definitely about to order the type 4 hair creme and a bigger size of the twistout hair creme. I compared my dry twistout results with the myhoneychild twistout to afroveda totally twisted ginger almond butter and I must admit that I liked the twistout creme results better. And as soon as I run out of KBB hair milk I want to get this Sweet Almond hair milk you are talking about.
