Re: CHALLENGE: Use Your Stash
I finally used up my 1st bottle of AOHSR, I purchased it last summer... I lasted awhile until I fell in love with weekly DC's, then it went rather quickly. Onto the 2nd bottle : ) So far I've been using up most of my products. Im so mad that I have shampoos up the ying yang. Thats 1 product that might take me another year to fully go thru, since I hate shampooing... Im'a cowash girl

Re: CHALLENGE: Use Your Stash
You guys will be so proud of me. I was at my hometown JC Penny. Even though they have a Sephora, they didn't carry CD products. Well, what did I find when I went home for Easter? They now carry CD products. There I was, sitting in front of the Tui shampoo and Mimosa Hair Honey and I didn't buy one thing
Re: CHALLENGE: Use Your Stash
I see haven't much changed! I have been using my products. I do plan to go to Trader Joes to pick up some nourish spa shampoo and conditioner since I don't want to use my expensive KBB shampoo/conditioner in my weave.
Oh, just remembered...I did pick up some Taliaah Waajid setting foam that I use to twist my hair that is left out around my perimeter. Other than that...I'm doing good! I'm pretty proud of myself!

Re: CHALLENGE: Use Your Stash
Very good Erica!!! My date has passed and I am trying to behave! I still have tons of conditioners to try!!! and I mean tons!!! So I will not purchase any conditioners!!! Now butters and hair milks is another story. I need to stock up for winter when I will revisit the twisting thing. I am a WnG kinda girl and since it's working I will let it work!

@sweet, i love my cd hair milk and kbb milk...what to do? i think i'll use up my kbb milk this summer cuz my cd milk will come in handy this fall/winter.
i do have a good amount of condish now but i use that more than anything and i'll definitely be usin em up this summer. i dont have many poo's but once there all gone the only poo i want to stick to is kbb cond poo and dr. bronner's as my back ups. so im slowly but surely gettin there.

Re: CHALLENGE: Use Your Stash
That's great, Erica and Pinkrage!
I had a minor setback and bought more products over the weekend, but I'm back on track. I've already used the Aussie Moist 3 Min Miracle and Suave Almond & Shea Butter. I didn't like either. My hair didn't feel moisturized and was frizzier than normal. I think it may be the cyclopentasiloxane. It's the common ingredient in both products. I spent less than $4 on both products, so I'm pleased I'm not out a lot of money.

My hair doesn't like it either. I finally figured that out.
Re: CHALLENGE: Use Your Stash
yea ive used the suave shea n almond at least 4 times now and i've come to the conclusion to let it go! i did like the aussie 3 min miracle but im too heavy handed for that small bottle and prefer a regular DC. im putting it in my care pkg for cherry.
