Denman Brushes???
Hey Ladies,
I have been thinking about buying one of the Denman brushes that I have heard so much about. However, this may sound silly, but I want to know what it is supposed to do and how it is supposed to be used before I invest in one. They are like $9 at Sally's. I am new to being natural and have bought many a product/styling tool, so I just wanted to see what is really up with this one before I just jump and buy it. My new facination (my hair) is becoming pretty expensive!

Re: Denman Brushes???
I was going to buy a denman but just couldn't justify the expense. I was watching a YT video (Channel: Teshonandfamily) and noticed that Teshon had purchased a 99cent plastic brush from Walgreens. I bought one (it was in my price range-LOL) and LOVE it. I only use it to detangle when I put my conditioner on. I think you could use it to shingle, too.
I hope this helps.

Thanks for your help ladies! I decided to wait until my hair is longer to think about getting one. Even then,I think I will get the cheaper Goody version [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] .

I tried my .99 denman knock off and I LOVED IT, I see what people mean by curl definition!!! I can do a curly fro more easily after detangling with the denman, but I have to be care to make sure I have enough conditioner on as I detangle....but it gets 2 thumbs up
