Re: Your Best Shot!
My best shots taken by my husband. He's my best critic and he loves me naturally. So what I did to my hair today was add tea tree oil to scalp, then add shea butter and a very small amount of aloe vera gel (first time trying it), then I twisted it section by section from the back. I'm still having trouble shaping my hair - I have to try the blow dryer method but I don't see much that can be done to give body to 2 strand twists. After I do the twist out I will post more pix. Sorry for the editorial...
Tell me what you think.

Re: Your Best Shot!
NaturallyJazzy thank you for the comment. I can wear my hair like this for 4-5 days if I take care of it and wrap it up every night. I haven't gotten the satin pillow case that I need as yet - I heard it's good to retain moisture in the hair but I have a satin scarf that I wear at night.
I just have to figure out how to shape my hair I don't like the fact that it doesn't hug my face. I do like the pictures though so maybe I'm just worried about NOTHING.
Thanks again for the comment it means a lot.

Re: Your Best Shot!
Thank you Lynnieluve - I think it's one of his many passions.
I wore my twists out to David's bridal today because I'm in my sister's wedding in June. There was a natural sista that came up to me and asked me how I feel about maintaining my natural hair. She was wearing a fro less than 2 inches long. I told her that I just started taking care of my hair and the biggest thing I've found so far is that it takes a lot of patience. Finding the right products is big for me. I like to keep things simple. We had a nice conversation.
Also I found the perfect dress! Yeah!

Re: Your Best Shot!
Hey guys I'm loving everyone's pics!
Sorry I posted so many, but i just love show n' tell! lol [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
This was a day old bantu knot out. I was also transitioning at this time so my hair isn't this long anymore.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
This was one of my protective styles during my transition. I took an old bantu knot out and made four twists that were pulled it back and pinned. I left a little piece out so it would'nt look too boring.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Also during my transition; bantu knot out. It was still a little wet when I took it down, but it came out great!

These pictures are a bantu knot out that was HORRIBLE [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] when I took it down but I had to make it work because I was to attend The Color Purple on Broadway. I did a twist across the top, pulled the back to one side and pinned it. It came out FIERCE lol. I was so in love with my hair that night.

These were just some of my protective styles I did. My regular twists and bun in the back.

Here are mine :-):
In Jamaica, where the humidity was MURDEROUS!!! Oh, and the little girl there is my daughter who has the most feather soft, 3a hair in the world <3 [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
At its most moisturized
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
The BEST my hair has ever behaved! It laid down and STAYED down the entire night even after being completely dry and dancing. I wish I wrote down exactly what I did so I could do it again, lol!

@ NaturallyJazzy
Thank you so much!
Those styles were all I could do. My hair would get too tangled and unpredictable I had to hide it some way. It's pretty simple you can do it.
I really like your braided style. Although I don't think I would be able to pull it off but it looks great on you.
