Hi. I soon want to get my hair braided at a hair salon - i dont have patient enough to do many braids on my own hair. I want it to be a little past shoulder length. But i'm wondering. Should i just get my own hair braided or should i get it with extensions? Do you think that my hair is long enough so it would be a little past shoulder length braided, and look fine without to many different lengths. thanks ladies!
ps. its a fail offcourse that there's standing may on the photo, mean march.

Re: natural hair braided
Your hair looks like it would be long enough for braiding. I would maybe recommend that you stretch your hair before you go so they arent tugging and pulling. My hair is nowhere near that length but it looks long enough to me..
Just my opinion!!

It will definitely be past shoulder length. You have a gorgeous head of hair!!!!! And the different lenghts will make it look more natural. If they bother you, just add hair where it's needed. I wouldn't though

Oh yes, you should get your natural hair braided. It would look gorgeous. My hair is shorter than yours stretched (when stretched it goes a little bit past my shoulders) and when braided naturally it's about 3 inches past my chin. Make sure you post an update, with pics!

My hiar isn't as long as yours and I briad my own hair! Have done for years! I think when it's shorter, the plaits need to be smaller for it to look nice, but at your length, you could get away with larger braids even!
I'd braid dry if you're concerned about length/shrinkage.

Re: natural hair braided
Okay thank you so much ya'll. I will soon get my hair braided then. I'm not good at braiding my own hair in smaller braids when it not is for a braid out in the back so i think i will go to a salon when i can afford. Again thank you a lot.
